Professor Gengjia Tian, chief clinical medical consultant of wound care product SuZhou AND Science&Technology Development Co., Ltd. , was invited to attend the International Conference on the Diabetic Foot and the 5th Global Wound Congress, Asia's largest annual wound conference and one of the world's largest wound conferences, which is organized by the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals (MSWCP) in collaboration with the Diabetic Foot International.

Opening of the Conference
International Conference on Diabetic Foot & 5th Global Wound Congress (2023) is the largest annual wound conference in Asia. Along with the American Wound Conference and the European Wound Conference as one of the largest annual wound conferences in the world. The International Conference was held from October 6-8, 2023 at Sunway Pyramid Convention Center, Malaysia. The theme of the event is "Wound Terminator: The Legacy".
This international conference was organized by the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals (MSWCP) in collaboration with Diabetic Foot International. Diabetic Foot International is the executive arm of the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot (IWGDF). The event was recognized by the Asian Wound Care Association (AWCA).
Dr. Harikrishna, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Congress, is a highly respected scholar and a prominent figure in the medical community. In the field of education, he received a Bachelor's Degree with Honors from the University of Malaya, a Doctorate Degree with Honors from the University of Malacca, a Degree in Continuing Medical Education from the Diabetes Research Institute of Australia, the Order of Japan and the National Order of Malaysia. In addition to his academic achievements, he has held key positions in several international organizations. He is the President of the International Society of Wound and Vascular Technology, a board member of the International Society of Wound Management, President Elect of the World Society of Wound Healing, Vice President of the International Organization of the Diabetic Foot, Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of Wounds, and Associate Editor of the World Journal of Wounds.

Gengjia Tian graduated from the Medical Department of the Fourth Military Medical University in 1991, chief physician, professor, postgraduate tutor, director of the Chronic Wound Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Hangzhou Geriatric Hospital, chief surgical expert. Currently: Standing Committee of Tissue Infection and Injury Prevention and Control of Chinese Preventive Medical Association; Standing Committee of Wound Prevention and Injury Tissue Repair of Chinese Society of Research Hospitals;
Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Pressure Sore Prevention and Control Committee of Tissue Infection and Injury Prevention and Control of Chinese Preventive Medical Association; Standing Committee of China Region of the International Limb Preservation Association; Committee Member of Diabetic Foot Branch of China Association for the Promotion of International Exchange of Healthcare; Committee Member of Diabetic Foot Branch of China Association for the Promotion of International Exchange of Healthcare.
